are a club band working through Dixon agency who are looking for a drummer
to join them, ideally Backing vocals would be great, also own transport
although we do have a van and If location is ok we can arrange pickup points.
We gig anywhere between 6-10 times per month all over the North East and
the occasional gig down South Yorkshire (it’s worth it). We play
songs by, Toto, Journey, Bon Jovi, Free, The Eagles, Whitesnake, Peter

guitarist WANTED!! GuvNor require a new lead guitarist, age
not important, don’t be put off by ours, we’re all in our 40’s. If you’re
a 21 year old blond female lead guitarist, please feel free to apply.
We’re more “originals” than “covers”, and only take a handful of pub gigs
a year, concentrating on the live “originals” scene instead. Basically,
we need someone who doesn’t want to play the same “tunes” as everyone else,
wants to play original material, for audiences who don’t want to hear covers,
and who doesn’t mind that we only gig about once every 5 – 6 weeks, more

band looking to do mainly pub circuit, as their is a bit more freedom.
On the guitars we have Mark (from working club band Aftershock,
although not for much longer!) and Richard who is currently finishing off
a music degree. So we are after people who can play to a good standard
but more importantly have drive, enthusiasm and a commitment to both rehearsals
and gigging. Our influences are G’n’R, Hendrix, Lizzy, thunder, Floyd
to the Foo’s. So covers would be along those lines and the few songs

are looking to put a band together to play music from and inspired by the
new wave/post punk bands from the late 70’s/early 80’s. Bands such as Big
Country, The Alarms, Skids, Stiff Little Fingers, The Clash, Jam, Early
era REM & U2, Etc. I am a rhythm guitarist and singer,
(although I’d prefer not to be doing all the singing) and my friend is
bass player (with BV’s). We are therefore looking for a singer, lead
guitarist and drummer. Would be looking to rehearse once a week and
gig a couple of times a month. This is for the fun and thrill of playing
live music so if you are after a regular pay packet we’re probably not

are a 7 piece cover band - www.cover-to-cover.biz based on North Tyneside
(Coast/Gosforth/Fenham). Check out the site to see our range of material
although I'm afraid there's no Black Sabbath, Deep purple or Free.......Our
drummeris
about to depart to play professionally and we're on the look out for a
replacement. If you can also sing to add to our harmony sound, we'd love

Newcastle-based
covers band require Singer / Frontman (age 21-35'ish). Current
line-up consists of bass, drums and guitar - we've been playing together
for eight years now and have a great sense of musical interplay between
the three of us. We went out under the name One Louder a few
years back doing covers and also did original stuff under the name Velatones.
More recently the bass player & drummer played some kickin original
tunes as The Dramas. We're now looking to revive old times
playing a fairly decent range of music including Zep, Free, REM, Sabbath,
Charlatans, Black Crowes, Clash, Manics, The Who, Costello & The Attractions,
Small Faces, Hendrix, Supergrass, Cream, QOTSA, Undertones, Faces etc...
but we're all into a wide range of music so the scope to play almost anything
is there. If you can sing like your life depends on it and are margainly
more reliable than British Rail, then you're in with a fighting chance.
A willingnes to have a laugh and rip the piss is essential, this is supposed

guitarist seeks ethereal vocalist and violin, for a new folky-pop-countryish/acoustic
venture! Alternatively, a similar venture seeking a guitarist would be
equally as acceptable. As it goes though, Cara Dillon, Kate Rusby, The
Weepies, Be Good Tanyas, Eiderdowns. Just a simple set-up at first,

(18 yr old), wants to form Van Halen tribute band in Newcastle.
Ive been gigging in a band called creature for a couple of years now and
I'm looking to start this tribute band aswell, with me on guitars I'm looking
for a decent drummer, bassist and frontman who will need to be dedicated
and reliable, also a love for rock n roll and Van Halen is a must!
You will also need you're own gear (suitable for gigging) and transport.
I have a 2k watt P.A SYSTEM, lights and obviously my own guitar gear and
amps, I already have a VH setlist planned and hope to get the band gigging
later on this year if things get sorted, (band formed and covers learned).
I don't have my own place to practice like some other bands but there are

Due
to lack of committment , and misunderstandings yet again , we are now looking
for a Drummer and a Bass player who can practise twice per week
every week on a wednesday and saturday ,no shift workers thank you ,
one of our practise venues is the elmfield social club in hebburn , which
has a huge stage , and is free of charge. The other is in a community centre
and works
out
a 2 quid each All we require is a couple of people who understand that
getting a full set together takes time and practise , and a little
sacrifice on all our behalfs. We ain't looking for big egoes , and definitely
no moaners groaners , huffers
or
puffers. Age wise we range from 20's to one foot in the box (40's and a
bit) but who cares its music we're makin not preparing for the next assault
on everest.

are a semi pro pop covers band and require a reliable keyboard playerwith

one is moving on to pastures new. We are a 100% live 6 piece 60s cover

set of killer original material and are looking to get out gigging and
recording asap!! We are experienced, committed and have a regular weekly
practice room in newcastle.If you have an interest in any kind of rock
